Group Waste Water Treatment Plant in Lodz Sp. with o.o. (GOŚ-Łódź) is one of the largest and most modern sewage treatment plants in Poland.
GOŚ-Łódź purifies wastewater from the area of Lodz and sewage flows from the inhabitants of Pabianice, Konstantynów Lodzkie, Nowosolna and Ksawerów.
The treatment plant uses the MUCT biological wastewater treatment system. Thanks to this, the effluent parameters at the mouth of the Ner River meet all the requirements of European standards. The most harmful biogenic compounds (ie nitrogen and phosphorus) are particularly effective.
The company runs an advanced sediment management business. The sludge produced in the sewage treatment process is fermented and allows for biogas. The resulting biogas is used to produce electricity and heat.
GOŚ-Łódź Sp. z oo.o.o.o.o.N.Newska Certificate of Integrated Management System PN-EN ISO 9001: 2014 and PN-EN ISO 14001: 2005 covering both the process of waste water treatment and the sludge economy as well as the actions for the protection of the environment.
The laboratory has been accredited to certify the ability to perform tests in accordance with PN-EN ISO / IEC 17025: 2005
